Spy vs. Spy Action Ads
|link| I remember reading a book of Mad Magazine’s great Spy vs. Spy as a kid and loving it. It appears the two spies are now pandering Mountain Dew, but at least they still want to kill each other. Check out the two commercials!

What Is Lucha Libre?
|link| Lucha Libre is the Mexican version of American Pro Wrestling but with more defined good guys and bad guys. One of the more distinguished features of Lucha Libre is the mask the wrestlers wear that covers the whole head. It has spawned an entire subculture including TV shows, movies, snacks, clothing lines (masks, I suppose), snack foods for kids, and many other marketable things. Strongbad of Homestar Runner is perhaps one of the more notorious Lucha Libre wrestlers.

Movie Cliches

|link| According to the site: “I bought a car yesterday! Then, I drove home and parked right outside my apartment. Later, I decided to go grocery shopping. When I returned, to my dismay, someone had taken my parking spot. Begrudgingly, I parked somewhere else. Then, around 2:00 AM, I was awoken by a loud rumbling sound, followed by a crash. It happened again, and again, and again… I went outside, and this is what I found…“

Pinups of Gil Elvgren
|link| Gil Elvgren made alot of pictures of pinup girls. I’m not sure the significance of the dogs that appear in many of them, but the pictures show that you don’t need to show any nudity to still be erotic.
