Steam Wars
|link| Steam Wars is a nicely done althistory with alot of detail implied. The creator, Larry Blamire, is hoping to make it into a movie and hopefully that will happen. I mean, if half of the crap movies out there manage to get made then this deserves more than half a chance!

|link| An interesting article about what liberalism is exactly, and how it differs from conservatism. This starts in a traditional vein and then gets into current political definitions. It has some good quotes:
- “Right wing reactionaries exist in a netherworld where faith (or more often prejudice) trump facts and logic.”
- “There are equally out-of-whack extreme left-wingers, but no one in the USA lets any of them anywhere near the levers of power.”
The whole article is good (though some “Republicans” won’t get it, I think).
