Oops I Flew It Again

|link| Here’s a collection of mostly airplanes in compromising (and sometime exploded) situations. This one looks like something that would happen to me if Jon E. was driving.

Catholic Recruitment

|link| Apparently the Catholic Church in Indiana is using images similar to Keanu Reeves in the Matrix to try and recruit priests. It’s cool and all, but are they saying we’re in the Matrix already and require rescue?

A Cat Named Fred

|link| This is the story of a cat named Fred. Fred got bound up and couldn’t poop. This is how his owner fixed the problem. I am wondering specifically if NHK thinks of Bill (his cat) and laughs reading this, and I am afraid for Mookee’s cats now.

The Big Ad

|link| “According to an Aussie friend, Weta in New Zealand (who worked on Lord of the Rings, etc) did this commercial. I am told it is a huge hit amongst all the CG folks, et. al. down under. It is really good.”

Hurray for Caffeine!

|link| Soon enough caffeine drinks might be considered healthy. “A study has found that coffee contributes more antioxidants - which have been linked with fighting heart disease and cancer - to the diet than cranberries, apples or tomatoes.” Awesome.

FAQ: OOKEE Aggregation

“I’m too lazy to go to all the OOKEE.com sites at once. Is there an easy way to check all the sites for updated articles?”

Why yes, there is! We have a new page set that aggregates the latest posts from all the sites hosted by OOKEE.com and puts them on a single page for your convenience. It gives the title of the article and the site it came from. Clicking on the story title takes you to the article.

You can find the OOKEE.com aggregator here.

UPDATE 2006.09.25. We don’t have an aggregator of the other OOKEE.com sites up and running at this time. Hopefully someday we’ll have it up again someday!

Death by Caffeine

|link| It will only take 150 cans of Jolt Cola to kill me. Now that’s a suicide I could handle as long as I could find a bathroom every 20 cans or so.
