Get your War On

|link| I’m not sure which war, I guess it depends on which title you click. Lots of reading, but keeping an open mind makes it funny. Personally, I liked the 11/29 one, when karate Snoopy comes out…but that’s me, there’s plenty more to see here.

Creepy Face Transplant

|link| They’ve completed the first face transplant in France. <cringe>Ew</cringe>. I’m sure it will be a boon to those with horribly disfigured faces, but it is creepy and weird to think of wearing someone elses dead face on your own. I wonder if anyone has told Michael Jackson about it, though?

Alive In Joburg

|link| Here’s something you don’t see everyday; a short science fiction film coming out of South Africa. Aliens infest Earth, and the citizen of South Africa aren’t happy about it. Done more like a mockumentary, it’s quite good mixing in live footage with VFX.

Evil Blogging

|link| Here’s a story about a guy who caught a blogger, a disgruntled ex-employee of an unnamed company, doing evil things. This is interesting in and of itself, but the conclusion includes a list on how to blog evilly.

Paul English: Hero

|link| Likely you’ve never heard of Paul English. I’ve just discovered him tonight. The reason I think he’s a hero? Because he’s compiled a list of phone numbers for various corporations that allow you to skip the automated phone system and talk to a real person. This is excellent stuff!

Travel Papers?

|link| I’m trying to find the catch here, as I usually support the police … I’d say 90% of the time I’ll take their side (not meaning I fully trust them…another story, another time, perhaps), but this story has me baffled. I usually let spookee worry about things posted on boingboing (sorry if I’ve overstepped my bounds), but he’s apparently busy. Someone please tell me this is a joke…and if not, why isn’t it bigger news?

Are We Not Meat?

|link| This short story of how aliens deal with us had me laughing out loud.

“They’re made out of meat.”

“Meat?”

“Meat. They’re made out of meat.”

“Meat?”

“There’s no doubt about it. We picked up several from different parts of the planet, took them aboard our recon vessels, and probed them all the way through. They’re completely meat.”

Ah yes. Mmmmmeat!

Chindogu; the Art of the Useless

|link| What is chindogu? It is that completely useless thing that you see around. It is the thing you can’t believe someone would think of, or take seriously. Kind of like this site.

Sex Toys for the Guys

|link| Via Japundit comes some very strange sex toy for men. The pictures there are SFW, but the links there lead to things that aren’t. Who the heck would use one of these things? Aside from Hugo?
