No 1st Amendment in Great Britain

Apparently Great Britain has nothing like the First Amendment, and if you use profanity in public you can be fined £80. That’s what happened to a Goth when he remarked that a metal detector was, “piece of shit that wouldn’t stop anyone.”

Fuck all, remind me never to swear out loud if I ever get to bonny England… Thanks to Some Danish Guy for the link!

Well, over here people are getting arrested for their clothing so who’s worse off? It just goes to show that both the States and Britain are police states in training.

You can be charged in the U.S. for using profanity in public, as well. The specific charges and potential penalties depend on locale and circumstances.
