Actually, 2006 was pretty much a meh. Nothing spectacular, but not a bad year either. Can we call this new year “2006 2.0″?

12.17.2006: Resumed California residency. Man, it’s good to be home!
Saw both Camper Van Beethoven and Imperial Teen play live.
The recent election was somewhat entertaining. (Quack, quack, decider-boy).
Grew some amusing facial hair.
And I had the best lamb korma *ever* (made with bananas!) at some Indian restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland…where, coincidentally, I also stayed at an Indian-themed hotel. I think they were glad when I checked out because CAM and I drank all of the beer they had to sell and kept the concierge awake all night.

In no particular order since memory is faulty… These are a mix of general and personal items.
- The World Cup.
- The end of something good.
- Congressional smackdown.
- My company holiday party.
- Battlestar Galactica.
Yup. I’m a geek!

In no particular order:
- Steelers win the Superbowl
- I have to agree with Doug on the World Cup, even though Italy won, the Zidane headbutt rocked.
- NHK’s coming out as we knew he would, a 70s porn star
- new job
- return of James Bond kicking ass
…most memorable (though definitely not a favorite), Yellow dog, RIP.

29 spam comments and all you have to show for it is “news?”
Danger Levaquin Zithromax, you are a bastard. And so say all of us.

So say we all.
And since “zithromax” is so similar to “cylon” if you are really drunk, I chucked that comment out the airlock.
