Third Stargate Series

Rumors abound concerning a potential third series to the Stargate franchise. The new series has the working title Stargate Universe and will likely follow a completely different crew rather than springboard off the current series as Atlantis did, and will deal with a ninth chevron encoding for the gate. Read more here and here.

I think the idea has potential, but I wonder if they might not run into the same problem Star Trek did where it became just too much of a good thing and diluted itself. What do you think?

The News

Those jib jab boys are at it again. This one isn’t as good as the political ones they did of Bush and Kerry, but it still gets its point across.

Creation Science 101

With such a compelling argument, why shouldn’t creation science be taught in school? Thanks to Hawkeye for this great parody of one of the many things that is so wrong with religion and state today.

Mac/PC Ads

We’ve all seen the charming Apple commercials where the dude representing the Mac is so much more hip and witty than the guy playing the PC. Laurie McGuinness seems to have taken umbrage and made a series of parodies and ha! They are really funny! I shouldn’t root for PC because I’m a Mac man myself, but damn he gets the lady!

The only thing funnier is if Ms. McGuinness’ site had a prominent “Made with a Mac” logo somewhere on it.
