The Three Musketeers (1975 version)
Ben Hur (Heston version)
The Last of the Mohicans (Daniel Day-Lewis version)
LOTR trilogy
and if 2001 counts, then 2001

I’m going to assume that by “epic” you mean movies that are so large in scope that they are more like novels. So with that in mind here we go:
1: Lord of the Rings (which should really be considered one long movie instead of three movies)
2: Lawrence of Arabia
3: Citizen Kane
4: Star Wars (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi; see Lord of the Rings above)
5: Doctor Zhivago

Having never seen Spartacus I’ll just throw in the more modern Gladiator.
