I love surfing. I’m not into the big wave stuff but getting out in the water and catching a wave is one of the more blissful experiences I’ve consistently had outside of sex. Seriously, you should try it sometime. I encourage all sorts of people to try it, but I don’t encourage rats to try it. Not that this stopped these little rodents…
We don’t often get many submissions from complete strangers but when we do I pay attention. Cassandra sent us the link to her blog with this comment: It’s my blog and I will be uploading my thoughts on all things sci-fi with a onus on proving useful info to folks. After watching it grow for a while I decided to post it. As I’ve said before, it’s a rare gem to find women who love science fiction as much as the blokes, and Cassandra obviously does. Here’s an interesting twist on the crossword puzzle. You still have to fill in letters, but there are no clues… just a list of letters to be used.
We’ve already talked about the “Gay Bomb” and the robot teddy-bear medic but did you know about the remote controlled sharks? What about the nuclear powered hand grenade, or the Jean Grey style telekinesis, or force shields, or the smart suit that performs battlefield surgery right when you get shot?
ABC has a brief write-up that I think deserves more attention.
Better watch it before it’s pulled….
The Taipei Times reports that a South Korean engineer and his blushing bride will have their wedding ceremony officiated by a Robot. Brother Cavil was unavailable for comment.
South Korea will also be deploying robot school security guards.
Next up: Robot Bris! Yes, it’s the Mohel-tron 250 XT! It slices! It dices! And it can still cut a cherry like this….
