“The bill requires public schools to guarantee students the right to express their religious viewpoints in a public forum, in class, in homework and in other ways without being penalized. If a student’s religious beliefs were in conflict with scientific theory, and the student chose to express those beliefs rather than explain the theory in response to an exam question, the student’s incorrect response would be deemed satisfactory, according to this bill.”

Wow. I wonder if the homophobic and - judging from her recent speech - possibly semi-retarded Sally Kern, R-Oklahoma, had anything to do with this bill.

Q. Discuss the proliferation and ultimate decline of slavery in the United States.
A. God wanted America to expand and made it ok in the minds of his servants to use people from Africa as slaves to help get the work done. Things were going well until Satan got hold of Abraham Lincoln and freed the slaves as a move to stop America from fulfilling HIS manifest destiny.
Grade = A+

This whole idea stinks. WTF are people thinking? Obviously they are not thinking. Still, along with BC Cakes’ example above, here’s mine:
Q. Explain E=mc2.
A. m = Mary, mother of Christ. c = Christ, our lord and saviour. The little 2 is the Father and Holy Ghost, which are a part of Christ making a Trinity. Therefore E = the Catholic Church.
Grade: A- (Teacher’s comment: you failed to explain clearly how E is the Catholic Church. You should have called the statement false and showed how E should be changed to CC, thus CC=mc2)

I’m still blown away by how mind-bogglingly stupid this is. Part of me wants to just give up and let America devolve into Idiocracy.

Idiotheocracy, perhaps.
