DIY Replicator

Ever want a replicator like in Star Trek? Well, they don’t exist yet, so here’s the next best thing. It’s a 3D printer, which in itself isn’t new, but the fact that it’s an open source 3D printer is.

For less than $1000 you can build one of your own, then print the upgrade parts when you need them. Neat!
