Apparently Vince Offer (the salesman) is a former Scientologist who made a movie they didn’t like, so they destroyed his career, cut him off from friends and family, and basically smeared him into poverty. Now he’s waging a one man war against the church with all the proceeds he makes selling things while wearing a headset.
