Apparently since 1898, American citizens have been funding the Spanish-American War via our phone taxes. So, now the tax is null and we finally can get a refund. The trick is that you have to ask for it in order to get it.
Now all of us would like an extra $30 to $60 dollars for free, but if you already filed this year and didn’t get it, you’re out of luck (I think).

Back in April Mookee posted about a guy who wanted to trade one red paperclip for a house. Well, as it turns out, he has completed his mission in exactly one year. He got the house!
I wish I were that ambitious because I’ve got tons of useless crap in my house I could trade up for houses, cars, space shuttles and small countries.
